Arkansas Farm Trail Passport Returns for Season Two

Discover local farms, support producers, and collect stamps for prizes across the state

Are you ready to explore Arkansas’ rich agricultural heritage — and support local farms at the same time?

The Arkansas Farm Trail Passport is back for its second season, and now is your chance to be part of it — whether you’re a farm or a fan of fresh local food.

The Arkansas Farm Bureau launched the Farm Trail Passport to connect consumers directly with producers across the state, giving people a fun, hands-on way to visit farms, buy fresh goods, and learn where their food comes from.

The program highlights more than 20 participating farms in its first year and is expanding to more locations.

How It Works

  • Pick up or download your free passport beginning March 15 at participating farms or county Farm Bureau offices (or print it at home). Arkansas Farm Bureau

  • Visit a listed farm, purchase at least one product, and get your passport stamped on site (one stamp per farm). Arkansas Farm Bureau

  • Collect stamps between March 15 and November 30, 2025. Arkansas Farm Bureau

  • Return your passport by December 5 to claim prizes. Arkansas Farm Bureau

Rewarding Participation

The more farms you visit, the better your rewards:

  • 3 stamps: limited edition T-shirt

  • 5 stamps: rain gauge, garden spade, sticker, cup + T-shirt

  • 10 stamps: $25 gift certificate to a favorite farm + T-shirt

  • 15 stamps: cooler + T-shirt

  • The first three completed passports submitted get an extra prize — a custom fire pit made by Arkansas FFA members.

  • Farm Bureau members also get one extra stamp credit when submitting (just include your membership number).

Why Join as a Farmer?

Calling all Arkansas direct-to-consumer farmers and ranchers: the application period is open through Friday, October 17.

By joining, farms receive:

  • Increased foot traffic & visibility

  • Marketing promotion through the statewide passport program

  • A chance to educate visitors about your operations, story, and products

  • Free participation if you’re already an Arkansas Farm Bureau member

To qualify, farmers must:

  • Grow or raise at least one food product (like produce, meat, jams/pickles, etc.)

  • Operate sales via a dedicated farm structure (farm stand, barn, shop) — home-based, non-public sales don’t qualify

Slots are limited, so applications will be chosen with consideration to regional diversity and product variety.

Tips for Passport Users

  • Call ahead or check social media before visiting, since farm hours may vary.

  • Map out farms by region so you can hit several on one trip.

  • Share your farm trail journey with tags like #ArkFarmTrail25, #ArkFT25, #ArkAg, and #ArFB.

  • Be present for the stamp — the buyer must be there to get the mark.

This program helps build stronger connections between Arkansans and the land that feeds them.

Whether you’re a farm or a foodie, there’s something to gain — in knowledge, fresh food, fun, and community pride.
